I have a requirement of generating the serial numbers as per the below logic.
Order no : 7000000
Quantity : 10 EA
The logic should be concatenate the order number and quantity. i.e 70000001-700000010. The system should create the serial numbers automatically when user enters the serial number as per the above logic for the 1st line and then checks the "CREATE AUTOMATICALLY" box. The system should create the serial numbers for balance 9 lines as per the above concatenation logic.
I have come across the user exits
IQSM0001 to IQSM0008. Can somebody suggest which user exit can be used to incorporate the above logic. I have prepared the FS with the current and required functionality. I am not able to conclude on which user exit to use. That is why I seek your guidance. Please note that in this case there is no number assignment to the serial number profile.
Request you to help me choose an exit. Will reward correct suggestions.
